Mission
Piney Grove Baptist Church is a community of believers who strive to practice faith that lives, love that works, and hope that endures, as we serve our neighbors in Trenton and people around the world.
Piney Grove Baptist Church has a rich history that dates back to 1880, according to church records. Originally known as The Church at Pine Grove, the church has undergone several name changes over the years. In 1885, it was renamed Unity Church, and by 1915, it adopted the name Pine Grove Church. Dade County Superior Court has records dating back to 1885, indicating that The Church at Pine Grove owned the property on which it was meeting. The church was also known to be a member of the Coosa Baptist Association. Today, it stands as a testament to its enduring legacy and community impact.
